They look amazing great job love it all, cant believe how much work you have put into these, I feel ashamed now what state mine are still in (black undercoat) 

Well love the colour scheme, I cant believe I am saying this but I prefer these grot tanks to your last ones 

Now to questions 1 did you airbrush any of this or was it just brush work 2 have you been building your own cannons for the tanks 3 the rust work is that powders and if it is what ones did you use  4 Runt bot where is the grot from the set ? if you dont need him or want him maybe we could work out a sale or trade 

Fighter looks great be a while for completion mind 

Sorry 2 gripes (you know me tell it as it is )
First Deff Dread exhausts have some kind of material or tape rapped round 2 of them might look better if you picked it out with paint  it just kind of looks unfinished IMHO.
Second dont use those decals they look rank do the free hand, I know you have the skill so just stop being lazy 

Other wise they look amazing mate super job, really want  to make and paint mine

lone dirty dog: Thanks for all your comments, I really appreciate it!  Now to try to answer some of your questions.
1. I airbrushed all teh base colors, preshading and a bit of highlighting, the rest is brush work.
2. I build my own grot tank cannons because I think the grotzookas are too funny not to use. Like little leman russ battle cannons.
3. I use mig pigments.  They've been around for a lot longer than some of these new chaps that recently started making pigments.  I'm not saying they are better just that I bought them before there were alternatives really.  But I am happy with them.
4. The runt bot was a games day UK only model that came out 1-2 years back.  I had a buddy in jolly old England pick it up for me.  Its a really great model too.  If you can find one get it, you wont be disappointed in it.

I actually thought about making a mold of the fighting and selling it as a little kit but never got around to it.   I just had too much other stuff going on.

Gripes:
1. Yes I agree, they need to be painted.  After doing the pigments I was waiting for the turpentine to dry and then I forgot to go back and pick them out.
2. I really can't do free hand at all, honest.  I have no ability to draw or paint pictures or icons or glyphs.  They always look like crap.  So decals it is for me.  I think they turn out okay, much better than I could do by hand.  I tried to do a hydra icon for my alpha legion and my brother literally laughed and said it looked like a 6 year old drew it; he was right too.

Thanks for the feedback on the feedback, great stuff answered all the questions so top marks.

How ever I asked if you still had the grot from the runt bot set ( I have one from gamesday ) The reason I asked was the grots not there, the little guy holding the controls.

I was asking if you had him but did not want him, maybe you would like to sell or trade him the grot not the runt bot  

You should have casted the fighter up I would have bought a couple myself

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood.  Yes I still have him.  I am planning to expand my grot army so I dont want to part with him.  I'm sure I will come up with a use for him.

I cant understand why no one has started producing grots  one thing I would buy hundreds of cant get enough of the little fellers.

What is a bigg trakk squadron?

Also there is only 1 troops choice in this list

Further is the list a apoc list? Cos it has the grot tanks in it which I don't believe you can use in normal games!

Big Trakk is a FW tank.

It has two troops, the nobs and the dread.

I use FW stuff in all my normal games.  You can use whatever you want if your opponent is fine with it.  This tourny allows all FW models apart from Apoc models with trutcture points and FW lists.  Thats why its the only one I play in, because it all about fun and not about winning.  I play with people that dont care what we use so if you want to use a blood slaughter in your chaos army go for it, want to use DKoK fine, want to use a mega dread awesome.  So really it just depends on who you plasy as to what is allowed in 'regular' games.

Thanks mate, I found imperial armour 8 army list, and I am starting to build an  army around it and converting my dreadknights into mega dreads!
